Tim Heidel

Dr. Tim Heidel is Co-Founder and CEO at VEIR, a company driving the development of superconducting power delivery solutions for AI data centers and other energy intensive industries. Tim’s career has spanned energy technology development, policy, and investment. Prior to VEIR, he was an investor at Breakthrough Energy Ventures, shaped national R&D strategy as Deputy Chief Scientist at NRECA, and managed ARPA-E’s grid and power electronics research as an early Program Director at ARPA-E. He holds four degrees from MIT, including a PhD in Electrical Engineering.
