Ujjwal Kumar

Founder & CEO, Quantum Alliance | Co-founder, Cognisee AI | Entrepreneur & Angel Investor

Ujjwal is an Unreasonable Mentor.
Ujjwal Kumar is an entrepreneur and angel investor connecting frontier technology with the industries that will deploy it. His work spans geopolitics, strategic supply chains and the critical minerals, energy and infrastructure underpinning the AI economy.

As Founder and CEO of Quantum Alliance, he created Q Fellows, funded by Eric and Wendy Schmidt, to connect Harvard talent with industry-defined challenges in critical infrastructure and technology. The program has helped turn industrial problems into new ventures, including Olm Labs, which emerged from a Q Fellows project with Rio Tinto.

Ujjwal is also co-founder of Cognisee AI, a frontier AI lab. His background includes a founding advisory role at S3 Markets, whose market infrastructure supported PepsiCo’s pioneering low-carbon ammonia certificate transactions with TalusAg and Envision Energy. His relationships with chief sustainability officers, hyperscalers, mining companies and grid stakeholders bring firsthand insight into corporate priorities, commercial adoption and cross-border opportunities.

A Harvard Kennedy School graduate and Mason Fellow, he serves as a Non-Resident Tutor at Harvard University, advising students on entrepreneurship, deep tech and AI. He previously led digital transformation work at the UN Food and Agriculture Organization and is an XPRIZE Global Visionary and German Federal Foreign Office alumnus.

For founders, Ujjwal combines industry knowledge, geopolitical perspective and relationships across government, industry and investment communities to help identify the right buyers, navigate cross-border opportunities and build partnerships that move technology toward deployment.
