Vasant Nangia is Fossil Group’s Senior Vice-President of the APAC Region, managing some of the most diverse markets in the world. He’s helping Fossil build its e-commerce, omni-channel and analytics teams, as well as evangelizing data-led decision-making and innovative partnerships across the region. Previously, Vasant led Fossil India, making it one of the Group’s largest subsidiaries.

His early career was with the Tata Group in India, mostly as part of the core team that built market-leading Titan & Tanishq brands in watches and jewelry. Prior to joining Fossil, Vasant co-founded Oyzterbay.com, that pioneered contemporary, affordable jewelry for the burgeoning young Indian population. The Oyzterbay team was acqui-hired by Fossil in 2007.

Vasant has served on the advisory boards of Bluestone (www.bluestone.com ), a jewelry start up, co-funded by Accel Partners, and Chumbak (www.chumbak.com), a design-led accessories company, co-funded by Matrix Partners. 

A graduate in Economics from St Stephens College Delhi, Vasant earned his MBA from IIM Calcutta, India.
