Vivian is an Unreasonable Mentor.
Vivian Wu leads impact investments across several initiative areas for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and has over two decades of experience in venture capital and private equity. Vivian serves on the board of Andela and BYJU’S and as a board observer of Bridge International Academies and Eruditus. Vivian also led CZI's investments in Age of Learning, Brightwheel, Ellevation, Handshake, Newsela, Raise.me, Trilogy Education (2U), and Varsity Tutors, as well as the acquisition of Meta to accelerate scientific discovery. Previously, Vivian was at a family office, and was in growth equity at TA Associates, venture capital at Accel Partners, and in emerging market private equity at Morgan Stanley Capital Partners Asia. She holds an MBA from Harvard University, and graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.S.Econ in finance and a B.A. in history, Phi Beta Kappa. Vivian has consulted pro bono for many education non profits and served on the boards of Caliber Schools, Full Circle Fund and the Harvard Business School Alumni Board.
