Ive been a serial entrepreneur since childhood. Ive been part of billion dollar start ups and massive failures. I started my career in international securities lending, moved to Brazil when the government privatized the telecom industry and helped build the first fixed wireless network, started a sustainable real estate company in Central America, started a greenhouse business to grow organic, local, hydroponic produce. I am currently converting RV parks to intentional communities based on shared values of sustainability, community, and experiences vs materialism. My first exposure to social venture was helping protect 10,000 acres of land from deforestation in the southern amazon. Im provocative, blunt, and passionate about teaching. I am a professor of entrepreneurship at DU and looking to make investments in companies I can add value to. We live in Colorado and my greatest and most rewarding challenge is being a role model for my two kids.
