Zia is an Unreasonable Mentor.
Zia Khan is Chief Innovation Officer at The Rockefeller Foundation, where he leads work at the frontiers of ideas, cross-sector coalitions, and breakthrough solutions. Since joining in 2009, he has overseen global initiatives in areas such as clean energy, innovative finance, food systems, economic opportunity, and artificial intelligence, as well as the Foundation’s program, strategy, and research teams.
Previously, Zia spent a decade at Katzenbach Partners advising clients on leadership, strategy, and innovation. He co-authored Leading Outside the Lines with Jon Katzenbach. He writes, speaks, and advises on strategies for scaling impact.
Zia serves on the Boards of Atlas AI and Stone Barns Center for Food & Agriculture. He holds a BS from Cornell and an MS and PhD from Stanford.
