Headspring
Data-driven power conversion for next-generation AI data centers
Headspring is a Japan-based power electronics company developing 800V DC power systems for AI data centers. Its HVDC Power Rack Sidecar, now in development, converts AC to 800V DC beside the rack and is designed to fit existing facilities as well as new builds. Headspring runs its own power semiconductor evaluation lab and designs converters from measured device behavior rather than simulation alone, an approach built over 12 years and more than 450 SiC/GaN development projects.
