OrganoClick AB is a public Swedish clean technology company that develops, produces, and markets functional materials based on environmentally friendly fiber chemistry. Their products include the durable and fire resistant wooden material OrganoWood®, the water resistant textile OrganoTex®, and the 3D molded biocomposite material OrganoComp®, which is used in furniture. Commonly used water repellents for textiles are known to be hormone disruptors. OrganoClick has developed bio-based, functional innovations that can replace common toxic chemicals. OrganoClick is also working on solutions for paper and packaging materials. By using OrganoClick's technology, the World Wildlife Foundation has calculated that more than 20 million tons of carbon dioxide can be saved annually by the reduction of raw materials.
