Alison Alexander

Alison has been on the Unreasonable Team since 2020. Alison has participated in 17 programs, including Unreasonable Impact World Forum 2024.
Alison is a purpose-driven leader with 20+ years of experience in organizational change and program management. As an organizational effectiveness expert, she optimizes organizational operations, builds capacity, and designs and enhances programs. She has worked in consulting and operations to create social impact across various industries (healthcare, CPG, PR, and IT) leading complex, large-scale transformations.
Alison was born and raised in Austin, Texas. She holds a B.A. in Communications and Studio Art from Denison University and a M.S in Organizational Change and Social Policy from Northwestern University. She is a forever student of purpose—how it is defined, developed and provides direction for individuals and organizations—and is particularly proud of her published research: “The Power of Purpose: How Organizations are Making Work More Meaningful.” She served on the board of The Midwest Chapter of The Association of Change Management Professionals, is an active member of the Illinois Chapter of BCorp and Conscious Capitalism, is an avid off-grid backpacker and kayaker, and uses her culinary arts degree and her passion for developing young minds as a volunteer for Common Threads.
