Arjun is on a mission to make India the world’s most energy efficient country by 2030. His company Smart Joules pioneers energy efficiency as a service business models coupled with intelligent automation technologies. Arjun also contributes to nurturing the efficiency industry as a Board member of AEEE, and the larger Indian cleantech startup ecosystem as a Founding Director of The Sustainability Mafia. He has won recognition from the Prime Minister’s Office and fellowships from Echoing Green, Packard Foundation and TATA Trusts. Arjun has a Master’s degree from MIT and Bachelor's degrees from UC Berkeley. He is excited by innovation at the intersection of disciplines, tracking apes in jungles, and living an adventurous life full of experimentation and discovery.
