Brendon Brewster is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and a native of the Caribbean, hailing from Trinidad and Tobago. Before Veerhouse Voda, he worked for Price Waterhouse Coopers, Rosetta Consulting, and Xerox Consulting Practice honing his skills consulting on Operations and Program Management for Fortune 500 companies in the verticals of Financial Services, Construction and Healthcare. Since founding the company in 2011, Brendon has developed a passion for housing and proper construction techniques in disaster prone areas and is actively involved in disaster recovery operations around the world. He and his team have been the recipient of the USAID/LEAD Business plan competition as well as the IDB Compete Caribbean competition for bringing high-quality, low-cost housing to the masses. Most recently he was awarded Digicel Entrepreneur of the year in the construction field for his work in Haiti. Having lived through several hurricanes, his goal is to proliferate good construction practices to populations that are typically lacking in standards, engineering, or quality materials to ensure that natural disasters do not have a disproportionate effect in emerging markets.
