As Co-founder of the Savory Institute and has led the organization for the past 15 years. Daniela has led the design and implementation of its global impact strategy to tackle biodiversity loss and climate change through the holistic management of grasslands. She is the Chair and Managing Director of the Europe-based Savory Foundation, dedicated to designing innovative investment models to attract and deploy capital in large-scale projects globally. She is the founder and Chair of Savory’s Land to Market, the world’s first outcomes-based verified regenerative sourcing solution for raw materials derived from grasslands’ domestic herbivores. With degrees in Agronomy, natural resource economics, conflict resolution, Holistic Management and systems innovation, and with 30+ years of hands-on experience in regenerative land management across cultures and continents, she is a global leader in the design and implementation of effective market-driven strategies to scale the healing of grasslands. Daniela has two daughters, Savanna and Mia.
