For more than 2 decades, Erik have been part of creating some of the most visionary privately-owned businesses driving impact and transformation of the global food and lifestyle industry. A master of creating and leading sustainable brands, most of which have been among the avant-garde of sustainability in the intersection of food and lifestyle.
Owner of Merika Advisory, Director of Value Creation at the Danish Sovereign Investment Fund and co-creator of The Klosters Forum, Erik is working on creating systemic change though deep collaboration across industry value chains and its stakeholders.

In 2009 Erik created the Meat Free Monday Initiative with Paul McCartney and Family which is now established as a global movement for the world to consume less meat to slow the acceleration of the climate crisis.
