Heather Picov is an experienced leader and manager with expertise in social innovation, education and technology. Heather is the former CEO of Apps for Good, a leading global ​charity that is empowering a generation of innovators. Founded in 2010, the charity has reached more than 220,000 young people, most of whom are from disadvantaged backgrounds and 50% who are girls. Heather has served as part of the UK government’s Digital Skills Partnership, been recognised by Computer Weekly as among the most Influential Women in IT in 2017, 2019, 2020 and 2021, and was a Digital Leaders 100 ‘Digital Leader of the Year’ Finalist in 2020. Prior to joining Apps for Good, Heather has worked on social innovation and education programmes with organisations that include Unilever, Coca-Cola and Mayor of London. Heather is also a governor of a central London primary school with a large SEN provision.
