Lewis Perkins, President of Apparel Impact Institute (Aii), is a dedicated advocate for sustainable practices in the fashion industry. Previously, as President of the Cradle to Cradle Products Innovation Institute (C2CPII), he initiated the Fashion Positive initiative, promoting Cradle to Cradle Certified materials. Before C2CPII, Perkins led sustainability for The Mohawk Group and consulted on social and environmental programs. He has contributed as an Ashoka Strategy Thought Partner, is a member of the H&M Global Change Award Expert Panel, and a Design Mentor for CFDA and IDEO & Ellen MacArthur Foundation’s Circular Design Competition. Perkins has an MBA from Emory University and received the Distinguished Alumni award from Washington & Lee University in 2018.
