Lord Rumi Verjee is a leading philanthropist, Liberal Democrat member of the House of Lords and multiple entrepreneur. 
His charity, The Rumi Foundation (www.rumifoundation.com), supports a broad range of initiatives tackling issues in education and inequality. 
He has built on a diverse range of business interests; having founded Domino’s pizza in the UK, owned Watford football club with Sir Elton John, and Mayfair’s luxury china and glass emporium, Thomas Goode & Co. He has also undertaken a number of high-end real estate projects in London and Brazil. Over the last few years Lord Verjee has used his very extensive network to help accelerate many businesses in the start up and scale up arena.
Lord Verjee studied Law at Downing College Cambridge, where he is now an Honorary Fellow. He is also a member of the Intercontinental Chapter of YPO.
