Matt Toms is the Head of Cash Equities Execution in Asia, based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for the Program and Electronic Trading businesses in the region. Matt sits on both the Global Markets and the Asia ESG working groups within Barclays. He has over ten years of experience in global markets. Matt joined Barclays in London in 2008 as a graduate within Equities Operations, before moving to Equities Trading. Prior to relocating to Hong Kong two years ago, Matt was responsible for our European ETF Trading franchise.

Matt graduated from Imperial College London with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. In 2019 he completed the Program for Leadership Development at Harvard Business School.
