Ratana is an Unreasonable Mentor. Ratana has participated in 2 programs, including Unreasonable Impact Asia Pacific 2022, and has advised over 28 Unreasonable companies.
Ratana is a Private Sector Development Senior Consultant and the founder of the Cambodia Community of Investment Professionals (affiliated with the CFA institute). She is actively involved in the startup, innovation and entrepreneurial local scene and act as an independent director on several companies board.
With more than 15 years’ experience in the field of investment in Cambodia, she has filled different positions in Cambodia including Managing Partner of the private equity firm Cambodia Emerald and Executive Director of EuroCham Cambodia and various positions of Independent director (ACLEDA Bank, I-finance)... Her early career was in Geneva where she worked as portfolio manager in a private bank and as economist at UNCTAD.
Her main goal is to continue to build on her existing achievements which are to
- Promote best practices and excellence, build skills and capabilities in local finance industry
- Be a strong ecosystem builder and facilitator for SME and startups
- Promote inclusive and sustainable business by promoting women empowerment, ESG and SDG impact investment
