Unreasonable Mentors

Robert Campbell

I use creativity, culture and chaos to reinvent the future.

Rob is an Unreasonable Mentor. Rob has participated in 2 programs, including Unreasonable Impact Asia Pacific 2022, and has advised over 28 Unreasonable companies.
Rob comes from Nottingham, England, which explains his bad teeth, diet and love of Nottingham Forest. He started his career as a session guitarist for some of the 80/90’s worst popstars, before shifting to strategy, where he’s spent 30 years living around the World, helping NIKE, Spotify, IKEA, Gentle Monster, Rockstar Games and Metallica define and create their future. He’s led strategy at Wieden+Kennedy, R/GA and now Colenso doing everything from nurturing street and sport culture in China, creating an airport lounge people want to miss their plane to stay in to World Cup and Olympic campaigns people will never forget. Rob is an obsessive believer in culture, creativity and chaos and has proudly been called an ‘asshole’ by Dan Wieden, Lars Ulrich and Richard Branson.
