Sushir Lohia is a Managing Director and Head of Risk Solutions Group, Asia Pacific, at Barclays, based in Mumbai. The Risk Solutions Group (RSG) business supports Barclays’ investment banking clients for their financing and risk management requirements. The risk management business supports corporate clients with their derivatives and structuring needs across all asset classes (FX, Interest Rate, Commodities), as well as their transactional FX flows.  

Sushir joined Barclays in 2002 as an Assistant Vice President responsible for setting up the Risk Solutions Group in India. He went on to assume various regional responsibilities, including Head of Structuring for NJA (2007-2010) and Head of Corporate FX and Rates, Asia Pacific (2010 – 2012). He assumed his current role in 2012.   

Prior to Barclays, he worked at Citi in Mumbai as a FX and Interest Rate Derivatives trader. He also worked at i-Flex Solution in Mumbai as a Software Consultant for a year prior to his MBA.

Sushir did his Engineering in Computer Science degree, followed by an MBA in Finance, both from Mumbai University. He is married with one son and a daughter.
