Ajaita is an Unreasonable Fellow. Ajaita was part of Unreasonable Impact Asia Pacific 2020.
Ajaita graduated Tufts University in 2006 and started her career in Microfinance in India. She won many awards for her ground-breaking innovation around healthcare, mobile technology, and social performance management in the sector.
She is an advocate for women led, transformational leadership and rethinking how market based approaches and social innovation can design for scalable impact developing concepts with several bodies of the United Nations, DFIs, and other international institutions.
Through Frontier Markets, she has won many recognitions including Forbes 30 Under 30’s Social Entrepreneur of the Year, Indian Women Entrepreneur of Year 2015, CNBC’s Young Business Women of the Year, Loreal’s Women of Worth 2016, the Global Enterprise Summit’s GIST Competition 2017 Winner, Ashden Award, and Women’s Transforms India Award in 2018.
Ajaita serves on the board of Frontier Innovations Foundation, an advisor to various social enterprises in India focusing on product development for the poor.
